FourQuarters are proud of their involvement with Fareshare - Australia's largest charity kitchen.
FareShare rescues surplus food from supermarkets, farmers and other businesses that would otherwise go to landfill and uses it to create 5000 free meals a day for Victorians in need.
FourQuarters regularly sends teams into Fareshare's commercial kitchen in Abbotsford to help out. We've spent many busy afternoons chopping veggies, making sausage rolls and quiches, lining pastry trays and helping to package food. Some of us have even gone on to become regular volunteers.
Our staff find this a very rewarding experience and thoroughly enjoy giving back to the community.
